How to Deshed Your Dog

With the tub set up at the Self Dog Wash you can deshedd your dog at a fraction of the cost of going to a professional groomer. The more times you do it, the better you get. I recommend using Furminator Shampoo and Conditioner which I have provided in the vending machine in shampoo/conditioner twin packs. These are concentrated so you will need to apply it to a wet dog and distribute it by hand and get it worked into the coat. I also have deshed shampoo periodically in the automatic machine. The conditioner is cocoanut based and is efficient at removing hair. Just follow my procedure to learn how to deshed your dog .

Some people who do not deshed their dog while they are wet , create a huge mess when using the blow dryer to remove the hair . Please remove as much hair as possible while wet to prevent the spread of Lice which have a better chance of spreading thru the building when using the blow dryer .

Note to card users 2/22/2023 : It has come to my attention that some card users may stop their card during the leave on process. If you stop the time and then reswipe your card you will begin as if your a new user so the charge will be $10.00 Min . This will cause 2 $10. dollar transactions . Just leave the shampoo sit without restarting the time. After the First initial 10 min you will be charged only a $1.00 a min. until you stop the time . In the end it will be cheaper .
